The Alzheimer's Disease Association (ADA) was formed in 1990 as a result of growing concern for the needs of people with dementia and their families. ADA is a voluntary welfare organization and is made up of caregivers, professionals and all who are interested in dementia. The ADA provides the following services: - Day care for the elderly with dementia at our New Horizon Centres (Bukit Batok, Tampines and Toa Payoh) - Transportation service to attend the New Horizon Centres - Physiotherapy and occupational therapy - Information and Referral - Support Group for carers in English, Mandarin and Malay - Counselling for carers - Training programmes on dementia care - Public education - Resource library - Attachment for nursing, medical and social work students at New Horizon Centres for practical training Our Vision Working towards a dementia free tomorrow and better dementia care today Our Mission Provide quality care for people with dementia and carers, promote research and programmes for dementia prevention Our Core Values Compassion Commitment Creativity Dedication Integrity
